Eat Your Makeup

Starring Maelcum Soul, David Lochary, Marina Melin, Divine, Mary Vivian Pearce, Mona Montgomery

In this very early experimental film, the lead character kidnaps models and, among other atrocities, forces them to eat their makeup and model themselves to death!

Another highlight is a re-enactment of the Kennedy Assasination featuring Divine as Jackie Bouvier Kennedy. Particularly tasteless considering it was only a few years after the actual assassination from which the country was still reeling, and the same year that Robert Kennedy was gunned down.

The film only screened once at a local church. Dreamland star Maelcolm Soul died weeks later.

Now the only way to see this early film is in John Waters' travelling photography exhibit called Change of Life.
