How do I become
a Dreamland Fan?

Jerry Kochendoerfer is a lifelong admirer of John Waters. And he's a sculptor to boot. Here's the culmination of his talent and his obsession...

"As a tribute of my own, I've created this sculpture of Divine as Dawn Davenport in that infamous scene from Female Trouble. I was just being born when Female Trouble was released but discovered these films later on. And for whatever reason, this is the scene that sticks out the most in my mind within the Waters pantheon. It's hard to tell from the photos but the lights on the tree actually flash and there's an engraved plate that reads: "I hate you, I hate this house and I hate Christmas!"

As much as I'd enjoy keeping this for my personal collection, I'd ultimately like to give it to John as a way of thanking him for influencing me as an artist."
